Chinese Navy conducts military drills in West Philippine Sea
The Chinese Navy conducted a series of military drill in the disputed West Philippine Sea this past few days. The drills were confirmed by the Chinese Defense Ministry saying it was in accordance with the naval training plan that is a routine arrangement. China constructs more airstrips in disputed territories
According to reports, China is constructing three more airstrips inside the Philippines’ exclusive economic zone in the Spratlys Island. Meanwhile, experts said airstrips will enhance the capability of China to act in the said area. Malaysia and Vietnam were two of the countries that sent observers and both also have territorial claims in the said area.
