(Eagle News)– The Ombudsman is set to initiate forfeiture proceedings to recover P29.2 million worth of alleged unexplained wealth reportedly accumulated by dismissed Philippine National Police chief Alan Purisima and his family. The Court of Appeals (CA) has affirmed the dismissal of former Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Alan Purisima. In a 37-page decision dated May 2, 2017, the Special 16th Division, through Associate Justice Ramon Cruz, junked Purisima’s petition for lack of merit.
