No water interruption despite El Niño – water companies

According to water utility companies, no water interruption would be implemented until the summer of 2016 despite the El Niño phenomenon. According to the Maynilad, in order to ensure that there is an ample water supply, they would instead implement a system of lower water pressure during off-peak hours which is 10 in the evening to 4 in the morning. Water interruption in several parts of Metro Manila and Cavite

Customers of Maynilad in some parts of Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque and Imus, Cavite will experience water interruption from November 11 – 13 due to Maynilad’s service improvement project. Maynilad said that it may implement longer hours of water service interruption starting October 5 if the water supply in Angat Dam proves to be not sufficient.
