(Eagle News)–A van carrying actress Kim Chiu was shot by unidentified gunmen in Quezon City on Wednesday, March 4. The actress and her companions, the driver and personal assistant, were unharmed, a radio report said. Police said the incident took place at the corner of Katipunan and CP Garcia avenues past 6 a.m. Police are still probing the incident.

(Eagle News)–The Department of Foreign Affairs is still checking whether there were Filipino casualties when a vehicle plowed into a crowd of pedestrians in Munster, Germany. In a DFA statement, Embassy Chargè d’Affaires Lilibeth Pono said around 4,100 of the 22,500 Filipinos are in North Rhine-Westphalia, where Munster is located. BARCELONA, Spain (AFP) — The driver of a van that mowed into a packed street in Barcelona, killing at least 13 people, is still on the run, Spanish police said Thursday.
