The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) welcomed the result of the latest survey conducted by the Social Weather Station (SWS) that showed that the number of unemployed Filipino dropped in the last quarter of 2015. Number of unemployed will increase worldwide
According to a study conducted of the International Labor Organization, the number of unemployed individuals may reach 200 million by 2017. ILO added that to lower the unemployment rate, the price of basic goods should be lowered. The report also noted that unemployment rates are going down in emerging and developing countries due to modern technology and economy.
