UP’s Bright Akhuetie named MVP; Ateneo’s Kouame is Rookie of the Year

(Eagle News)–University of the Philippines’ Bright Akhuetie was named the Most Valuable Player by the  University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The UAAP also named Ateneo’s Angelo Kouame  as Rookie of the Year, with statistical points of 76.21. (Eagle News) — Far Eastern University clinched fourth place in the UAAP Season 81 men’s basketball tournament after beating Dela Salle University in a heart-stopping match on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Tamaraw Arvin Tolentino shot the game-winning three with only 3.1 seconds left.
