(Eagle News) — Pitong porsyento lamang ng kabuuang bilang ng mga pribadong paaralan sa buong bansa ang pinayagan ng Department of Education na magtaas ng kanilang tuition fee. Ayon kay Education Undersecretary Jesus Mateo, mayroong 14,430 na pribadong paaralan sa buong bansa para sa school year 2018-2019. DepEd approves tuition fee hike in 1, 200 private schools this academic year

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Department of Education approved the increase in tuition fee of 1,232 private schools which is equivalent to around 10 percent of more than 12,000 private elementary and secondary schools nationwide. According to Education Secretary Armin Luistro, these private schools were able to comply with the requirements laid down by DepEd.
