QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — More than 3, 000 passengers were stranded in ports and harbor all over Southern Tagalog and Bicol regions due to tropical storm “Salome.” The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is strictly implementing Memorandum Circular No. 02-13 or Guidelines for Sea Travel during inclement weather. (Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Services Administration on Friday lifted all tropical cyclone warning signals as Tropical Storm “Salome” moved farther away from the Philippine Area of Responsibility. (Eagle News) — Rains are still expected in several parts of the country as “Salome,” now a tropical storm, nears the West Philippine Sea and moves away from land.
