TNCs agree to mandatory opening of passengers’ packages

(Eagle News) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has granted Uber’s prayer for  it to pay a P190-million fine in lieu of being placed under suspension. LTFRB: Uber suspension was for its “open defiance” of directive on “no further accreditation” of vehicles

(Eagle News) — Uber continued to activate and accredit drivers despite a directive from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to desist from doing so.
