(Eagle News) — Tropical Depression “Tomas” has weakened into a low pressure area. But the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said sea travel remains risky over the northern seaboard of Northern Luzon. “Tomas” said this was due to “rough to very rough seas associated with the ongoing surge of the northeast monsoon.” As of 2 a.m., the center of “Tomas” was located 1,050 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.

PAGASA: Typhoon “Tomas” now out of PAR but is forecast to re-enter within next 12 to 24 hours
(Eagle News)–Typhoon “Tomas” has moved out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility but is expected to re-enter within the next 12 to 24 hours.
