Despite being one of the hard-hit provinces, Sorsogon was able to endure typhoon “Ruby” with zero casualties.

Various municipalities, provinces and cities declared “no classes” due to the inclement weather brought by “Ruby”.

In Iloilo, three were recorded dead due to “Ruby” while another was recorded in eastern Samar.

DSWD is also for volunteers to help in the repacking of relief goods for victims of Typhoon Ruby. The province of Aklan experienced four incidents of power shortages as “Ruby” felled trees which damaged power lines in the province.
