PCG: Over 15,000 people stranded in ports due to Tropical Depression “Usman”

(Eagle News)—Over 15,000 people have been reported stranded in ports across the country due to Tropical Depression “Usman,” the Philippine Coast Guard said. According to the PCG, of the 15788 stranded as of 4 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 1049 came from the National Capital Region-Central Luzon; 1164 from Central Visayas; 1733 from southern Tagalog; 942 from Western Visayas; 5,047 from Bicol; 5017 from Eastern Visayas; 453 from Northern Mindanao; and 383 from Southern Visayas. PCG: Over 4,800 passengers stranded in ports due to “Ompong”

(Eagle News) — Over 4,800 passengers have been stranded in different ports across the country due to Typhoon “Ompong.” Below is a list of stranded passengers posted by the Philippine Coast Guard in its Facebook account as of 8 a.m.: The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Ompong” will make landfall over northern Luzon on Saturday, but its effects will be felt as early as Friday, Sept. 14.

More than 2,000 passengers stranded due to “Agaton”

(Eagle News) — Over 2000 passengers were stranded in Visayas and Mindanao due to tropical storm “Agaton.” The Philippine Coast Guard reported that most of the 2, 300 passengers were in northern Mindanao and southeastern Mindanao,with 1,910 affected passengers.
