COMELEC answers netizen’s accusations of partisanship

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) answered the allegations of netizens regarding the commission’s partisanship with the Liberal Party after the COMELEC allowed the extension of the deadline of submitting the Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) requested by the LP. COMELEC should not receive Lim’s resignation

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Commission on Election (COMELEC) should not allow the resignation of Commissioner Christian Robert Lim, head of the Campaign Finance Office. According to election lawyer, Atty. Romulo Macalintal, this may set a bad precedent.
