QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Social Security System will not go bankrupt in light of President Rodrigo Duterte’s approval of the Php 1,000 increase on the pension of retired SSS members starting this year. According to SSS Chairman Amado Valdez, the SSS will adopt several measures to ensure this like reforming the collection of contributions from employers.
