South Korean President apologizes for Sewol tragedy

South Korean President Park Gyeun-he apologized for her government’s failure in preventing the ferry Sewol incident last April 16, saying that the initial response have been insufficient. The death toll is now officially at 193. According to various reports, most of the dead or missing were high school students, who were onboard the Sewol for a school field trip.
