(Eagle News)—-Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu has ordered a suspension of all small-scale mining operations in the entire Cordillera Administrative Region. He said the suspension will apply until applications for Minahang Bayan are approved. Ombudsman indicts Zambales governor Ebdane for graft

QUEZON City (Eagle News) — The Office of the Ombudsman has indicted Zambales Governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr., for graft and usurpation of official functions, for giving small scale mining permits to allegedly favored individuals that had affected the operations of a mining firm.
