JULY 31 (Reuters) — Job cuts and falling profits at Royal Dutch Shell are the latest indication of how prolonged low oil prices are taking their toll. The Shell will implement its rollback on petroleum product around 12:01 am on Tuesday (April 7). The price roll back on Shell were P0.65 centavos for every liter of gasoline, P0.15 centavos for every liter of diesel, and the price reduction on kerosene is P0.20 centavos. The Phoenix Petroleum Philippines’ is making similar adjustments on its oil price products effective 6:00 am Tuesday.
Shell will implement a rollback on the price of diesel this midnight. Said rollback is pegged at 30 centavos per liter. Other oil companies are expected to follow.
