QUEZON City, Philippines – Senator Richard Gordon asked for the support of his fellow senators after being voted as the new chair of the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights. This was after majority of the senators voted to oust Senator Leila De Lima as chair of the powerful senate committee, with a 16 – 4 vote. Senator Gordon is also the chair of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.
