QUEZON City, April 16 (Eagle News) — In the latest electoral survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS), Senator Grace Poe had a sudden increase of ten percent points or 31 percent, making it closed in on Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay who lost one point making it with 36 percent points.
Good news for doctors and nurses working in public hospitals. Senator Grace Poe proposed a law raising the salary of doctors to P55, 000 a month while for nurses, the salary will be increased to 25, 000 pesos.
According to Senator Grace Poe, naming President Aquino responsible for the Mamasapano incident is one of the hardest decisions she made after entering government service, but she reiterated that she only reported the findings of the Senate hearing.
After three rounds of hearing, Senator Grace Poe is considering of the termination of the Senate probe on the Mamasapano incident.
In connection with the rise of her satisfaction ratings, Senator Grace Poe said that she will not run for president in the coming 2016 elections, saying that she does not want to experience her father’s ordeal in the 2004 election.
