Senator Antonio Trillanes IV issued a resolution asking the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights to investigate the case of justice for sale, especially in the Court of Appeals.
Court of Appeals (CA) Justice Francisco Acosta denied the allegations of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, saying that said Justice accepted bribe from the camp of Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay Jr., so that he’ll issue a temporary restraining order in favor of Mayor Binay. Justice Acosta said that the allegations are wrong and baseless.
These past months, Vice President Jejomar Binay was faced with several controversial issues. It all started with the construction of the allegedly over-priced Makati City Hall Building 2, which costed Php 2.2 billion.
