(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte on Tuesday, Dec. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 5:32 a.m. The epicenter of the quake–which was tectonic in origin and had a dept of focus of 6 kilometers —was located 8 kilometers northwest of Calubian.
