(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan on Wednesday, Aug. 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:42 a.m. The epicenter was 23 kilometers northwest of Claveria. The depth of focus was 11 kilometers.
