This was after the economy posted a 6.1 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2018. According to the PSA, this was higher than the 6.0 percent recorded in the third quarter of 2018. National Statistician Lisa Grace Bersales noted, however, that month-on-month inflation was at 0.8 percent, slower than the 0.9 percent in August. Month-on-month inflation refers to the increase in consumer prices.
