Americans waste 150,000 tons of food per day: study

SWS: Average hunger rate in 2017 the lowest since 2004

(Eagle News) — The average hunger rate for all quarters of 2017 was the lowest recorded since 2004, the Social Weather Stations said. The SWS said the rate of 12.3%  was one point below the 13.3% recorded in 2016, and a bit higher than the 11.8 percent recorded in 2004.
