PISTON conducts transport caravan against oil price hike

MANILA, Philippines – The transport group Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (PISTON) condemned the big time oil price hike earlier this week by conducting a transport caravan. Jeepney drivers protest oil price hike

March 10, 2015

Protests greeted the oil price hike implemented by various gasoline firms on Tuesday. Diesel prices rose by more than 50 cents per liter, while prices of gasoline rose by more than 90 centavos per liter. Among the protesters were from the jeepney drivers’ group PISTON.
