Former President Fidel V.Ramos voted early in his hometown in Narciso Ramos Elementary School Asingan,Pangasinan. Around 7:00am, the former President arrived in the polling place together with some oh his relatives running for office. Local police did not provide extra security for the 12th President. IBP Cavite provides free legal services for public school teachers serving as BEI’s

The Department of Education in Cavite and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Cavite signed an agreement for the protection of public school teachers in their role as Board of Election Inspectors in this elections. Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia to conduct regular joint maritime patrols

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia guaranteed the conduct of regular joint maritime patrols in the Sulu and Celebes Seas by signing an agreement. The patrols are in response to the kidnapping incidents perpetrated by the Abu Sayyaf Group.
