QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine National Taxi Operators Association will petition the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to return the taxi flag-down rate to PHP 40.00 due to the oil price hike. Severe traffic problem causes taxi drivers’ attitude problem
According to Atty. Bong Suntay, president of Philippine National Taxi Operators Association, the complaints made by commuters regarding taxi drivers’ bad mood and even acts of harming their passengers were due to the severe traffic problem in Metro Manila.
