PNP: Nine cops in Jolo shooting incident under restrictive custody in Camp Crame

(Eagle News) — The nine policemen allegedly involved in the deaths of four soldiers in Jolo on June 29 are now under restrictive custody in Camp Crame. In a statement, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. In photos: Albayalde visits Batocabe’s wake in Albay

  (Eagle News)—In these pictures released by the Office of the Chief of the Philippine National Police, PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde is seen visiting the wake of Rep. Rodel Batocabe in Albay. Batocabe was shot as he was about to board his vehicle from a gift-giving activity in Daraga on Saturday, Dec. 22. His bodyguard was also killed. The National Bureau of Investigation has said the killing was “likely politically motivated.”
