MMDA: No number coding in Metro Manila today, Feb. 25
(Eagle News)–The number-coding scheme in Metro Manila is suspended today, Monday, Feb. 25. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority made the announcement in a Tweet on the same day. The MMDA said the suspension was to give way to celebrations for the People Power anniversary. In line with this, the MMDA said the lane on Edsa in front of the People Power monument will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. today.

The camp of Laguna Governor ER Ejercito threatens “people power” if he is forcibly removed from his position. Ejercito’s legal counsel said that they are only asking for courtesy as they will file a motion for temporary restraining order at the Supreme Court. The Commissions on Elections has decided that Ejercito should step down from his positiion due to violations of the Fair Elections Act last 2013 due to overspending.
