Aug. 20 declared a non-working day in Lucena, Quezon
(Eagle News) — Malacanang has declared Aug. 20 a special non-working day in Lucena City, Quezon. The declaration–done in celebration of the city’s Charter Day anniversary–was done via Proclamation No. 554 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. “..It is but fitting and proper that people of Lucena City be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,” the proclamation read.
