Tsunami warning for three Pacific islands after quake

SYDNEY, Australia (AFP) —  Small tsunami waves lapped New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu Wednesday after a strong earthquake in the Pacific Ocean, but the threat passed without any damage reported.
