Vice President Jejomar Binay said that he is willing to face the controversy of the overpriced Makati buildings but he will not be swayed by calls to face the Senate. He added that he will push through with his prepared speech which was cancelled due to rampage of “Luis”. He will make the statement this Thursday, 2 in the afternoon.
The Department of Justice has confirmed the admission to the witness protection program of the three witnesses on the alleged overpriced Makati buildings.
According to Senate Blue Ribbon Sub-Committee Chairman Senator Koko Pimentel said that the senate will grill the Commission on Audit on its continuing investigation of the overpriced Makati building, to find out how the irregularities regarding the building passed the said commission.
