PCG: Over 4,800 passengers stranded in ports due to “Ompong”

(Eagle News) — Over 4,800 passengers have been stranded in different ports across the country due to Typhoon “Ompong.” Below is a list of stranded passengers posted by the Philippine Coast Guard in its Facebook account as of 8 a.m.: The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Ompong” will make landfall over northern Luzon on Saturday, but its effects will be felt as early as Friday, Sept. 14.

MMDA on blue alert due to Typhoon “Ompong”

Classes, work suspended in Santiago City, Isabela

(Eagle News) – -The Santiago City government in Isabela has suspended government and private work on Friday, Sept. 14, as “Ompong” threatens parts of the country.
