Suspect in killing of Ombudsman prosecutor arrested
(Eagle News)~The suspect in the killing of an Ombudsman assistant special prosecutor has been arrested. A report said jeepney barker Angelo Avenido Jr. ,31, was nabbed by authorities on Monday, June 4, at 5:45 p.m. This was only hours after the killing of Madonna Joy Enaco Tanyag in Quezon City. Police said Avenido had tried to rob Tanyag, but she resisted. Tanyag was five months pregnant at that time.
