(Eagle News) — Hinikayat ng Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (BSP) Iloilo Branch ang publiko na papalitan na ang kanilang mga lumang pera. Paalala ni BSP-Iloilo acting Deputy Director Joanne Marie Castelo, hanggang sa Disyembre 31 na lamang ang deadline para sa pagpapalit ng lumang pera sa mga bangko at branch ng BSP. If you are one of those still holding on to old bank notes (New Design Series or NDS) for sentimental or other reasons or if you received as change from your “suki” fruit vendor dark-colored peso bills after paying your purchases, be sure you dispose of these bills right away, or else be left holding “demonetized”, or value-less money. Old banknotes till December 2015 only

MANILA, Philippines, May 22 (Eagle News) — The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reminded the public that old banknotes issued in 1985 can only be used up to December 31, 2015.
