COMELEC starts transfer of official ballots

QUEZON City, Philippines – As the 2016 election nears, the Commission on Elections have started the transfer of the official ballots from the National Printing Office to its temporary warehouse in Marikina. Using a 10-wheeler truck, the COMELEC transferred 1.7 million official ballots that will then be sent to the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao. All systems go for printing of official ballots

According to Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, the National Printing Office is all set to print the official ballots that will be used in the May 9 elections. Coloma added that last election, the NPO was able to print the official ballots three weeks before the deadline.
