No rice shortage – NFA

QUEZON City, Philippines – National Food Authority spokesperson Marietta Ablaza assured the public that there was no shortage in the supply of rice in the country. She said household and commercial rice stock was higher this year compared to last year. The NFA is also exerting efforts to replenish its buffer stocks before the coming of the lean months.
