MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News Service) — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announced that 25,301 elementary teachers out of 70,786 examinees (35.74%) and 26,767 secondary teachers out of 77,803 examinees (34.40%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) given last August 17, 2014. The President of New Era University reiterated in his speech, the importance of our own language while students show their various talents in celebration of “Buwan ng Wika”.
On its 39th anniversary, the New Era University inaugurated a new college, the College of Medicine. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo.
The centennial batch of graduates of the New Era University can easily get jobs despite the increasing unemployment rate in the country, not only because of the high quality of education provided by the said institution but also because of the good moral instilled by the university to its students.
