(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Negros Occidental early Sunday, March 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:32 a.m., had its epicenter nine kilometers northwest of Sipalay. It had a depth of 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake jolts Negros Occidental
(Eagle News)—A 3.5-magnitude quake hit Negros Occidental on Thursday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. PHIVOLCS said the quake struck 108 kilometers southwest of Sipalay at 10:28 p.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 46 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
