Red alert over Luzon grid lifted; grid now under yellow alert

(Eagle News) — The red alert hoisted over the Luzon grid has been lifted. The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines made the announcement in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 11. Luzon Grid placed under yellow alert by NGCP

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on Thursday, September 1 placed the Luzon Grid under yellow alert due to insufficient ancillary services (AS) capacity. Eastern Visayas to experience 13 hour brown out on June 18

QUEZON City, Philippines – According to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, Eastern Visayas will experience a 13-hour power interruption on Saturday, June 18 due to the transfer of the conductors from the emergency restoration system (ERS) structures to permanent Tower 13.
