Higher penalties approved in House for those who will not sing the national anthem properly

QUEZON City, Philippines – The House of Representatives has approved on third and final reading the proposed imposition of higher penalties for the improper singing of the National Anthem. From an existing fine of Php 5, 000 – Php 20, 000 to those who will sing the anthem inappropriately, the fine was increased to Php 50, 000 to Php 100, 000, based on the proposed measure.
