Water cannon fired against anti-coup protesters in Myanmar’s capital
YANGON, Myanmar (AFP) — Police in Myanmar’s capital fired water cannon against anti-coup protesters on Tuesday, according to a live feed posted on Facebook. Myanmar military declares one-year state of emergency
YANGON, Myanmar (AFP) — Myanmar’s military declared a one-year state of emergency on Monday and appointed a general as acting president, after arresting civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi and other senior officials.
