MRT passengers can avail 30 minutes of free internet

QUEZON City, Philippines – The MRT-3 will implement its 30-minute free internet for its passengers as they wait in the MRT stations as well as in the moving MRT trains. Only the first 30 minutes are free each day but those that will go over the allotted time will be charged. DOTC gets MRT-3 prototype train

The Department of Transportation and Communications said that the prototype train of the Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) has arrived in the country from China. Malacanang: 48 new MRT coaches to arrive starting September 2015

Longer operating hours of MRT 3 starts today

Effective today, MRT 3 will implement longer operating hours, with journey extending to 10:30 PM going to Taft Avenue and 11:00 PM going to North Ave, to help alleviate the traffic situation brought about by the 15 government infrastructure projects.
