Barangay tanods involved in “misencounter” placed under preventive suspension

(Eagle News)– Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita Abalos on Friday ordered the preventive suspension of barangay tanods in the misencounter in Mandaluyong that left two people dead. (Eagle News)– The chief of police of Mandaluyong and several other policemen have been relieved over a “misencounter” that left two people dead and two others in critical condition. National Capital Region Police Office chief Oscar Albayalde said Senior Superintendent Moises Villaceran Jr and 10 other policemen from the Police Community Precinct 1 have been sacked after they shot at a vehicle, a Mitsubishi Adventure, they thought carried suspects in another shooting incident in the city.
