MMDA suspends number coding

MANILA, Sept. 19 (PNA) — Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) suspended Friday the number coding for motorists, except in Makati and Las Pinas due to flooded streets brought about by Tropical Storm “Mario.” Under the traffic scheme, vehicles with plate numbers ending in 0 and 9 are not allowed to travel around the metropolis on Fridays. MMDA lays down truck route
