(Eagle News)– Aklan police are still looking for witnesses in Monday’s shooting of alleged drug lord Melvin Odicta and wife Meriam. According to Region 6 Police Director Chief Supt. QUEZON City, Philippines – Alleged illegal drug financiers Melvin and Meriam Odicta were killed in an ambush by unidentified attackers in Caticlan port. According to Police Senior Superintendent John Jamiili, Provincial Director of Aklan Police, the Odicta spouse have just embarked from the RORO when they were ambushed. A security guard of the Caticlan jetty port reported the incident. The spouses were sent to the Malay municipal hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival.
