Espinosa lawyer slayed in ambush

(Eagle News)– Atty. Rogelio Bato, lawyer of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa and his son Kerwin, was killed in an ambush in Tacloban City. Aside from Atty. Bato, a 15-year old girl who was with him was also killed. PNP unearths high-powered firearms in Mayor Espinosa’s yard

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Philippine National Police (PNP) was able to recover illegal drugs and high-powered firearms in the property of Mayor Rolando Espinosa in Sitio Tinago, Brgy. Binoldo, Albuera, Leyte. According to PNP Chief Inspector Jovy Espinido, they found the high-powered firearms in the yard of the property while the illegal drugs was discovered in the kitchen. The illegal drugs weighed 11 kilos which has the street value of Php 88 million.
