The Maynilad is now proposing the implementation of higher rate for water after winning the arbitration proceedings and submitted the proposed increase to the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) Regulatory Board.
According to the Maynilad Water Services Inc., that the water shortage started earlier than announced in Parañaque due to residents storing water.
Maynilad will conduct a 24/7 water rationing to hospitals in Metro Manila and Cavite due to an upcoming 3-day water cut-off. Residents of affected areas were advised to prepare for said water cut-off.
