Gov’t: Over P140 million so far awarded to victims of Marawi Siege

(Eagle News)–The Marawi Compensation Board has so far awarded over P140 million in compensation to the victims of the 2017 Marawi siege. According to the Presidential Communications Office, the P148,848,794.26 awarded as of April 30–or roughly nine months since the board started receiving claims—constitute compensation for 86 death claims and 32 structural and personal property claims. Lawmakers gather Php 13M donation for Marawi victims

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Members of the House of Representatives were able to collect almost Php 13 million worth of donation for families affected by the conflict in Marawi City.
