(Eagle News) — Work in all courts on Monday, October 16, has been suspended. Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno declared the suspension because of the scheduled transport strike on that day. She made the declaration after Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea also declared a suspension of government work and classes at all levels in all public and private schools in the country.
QUEZON City, Philippines – Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Ma. Lourdes Sereno ensured that the judiciary is not going to be lenient to those of its ranks who commit illegal acts.
